We marked Battle Weekend with two days of tactical demonstrations. Over hundreds of reenactors were on site for a total of four scenarios. Special thanks to the Brigade of the American Revolution, the British Brigade and the Continental Line for all they do to make history come alive.

August Events
Battle Weekend Reenactment
Bennington Battlefield will host a reenactment on August 13th and 14th. Patriot & Crown camps will be open to the public at 10:00 AM both days. On Saturday, August 13th at 3:00 visitors may observe the attack on the Dragoon Breastworks. That same evening at 7:00 there will be a repulse of the Crown’s reinforcements. On Sunday, August 13th Stark’s attack will begin at 11:00 AM followed by the attack on the Tory Fort at 2:00 PM.

The program runs from Monday, June 27 to July 1 and July 11 to Friday, August 19th. The program meets from 8:00am – 4:30pm with additional morning or afternoon hours available for an additional fee.
