The last half of September and the first half of October have been busy despite the arrival of fall, but the most recent excitement was off-site. Students from an archaeology class taught by Luisa Millington at CCV in Bennington, VT volunteered their time to help clean and catalog artifacts from a previous survey. While the work of gently brushing dirt off the artifacts may not have been as thrilling as their recovery, the prospect of getting hands-on (or gloves-on as the case may be) is certainly a unique experience. We are grateful for the assistance.

As our season draws to a close, we still have some exciting programs planned. We also continue our docent coverage Wednesday to Thursday, 11 to 3. If you haven't visited this year, now is the time!
