Louis Miller Museum's Winter Concert Series

The Louis Miller Museum is sponsoring a Winter Concert Series the last Sunday of January, February and March at 2 p.m. featuring local musicians.

On January 28th The Four of Us will be playing.
The Four of Us is a saxophone quartet formed in 2013 by four local saxophone players. The Four of Us have played in many venues throughout the tristate area and have a wide variety of music in their repertoire.

The members of the group are Bill Cottrell, who plays the soprano sax, also doubling on alto sax, Dick Kuebler, who plays alto sax, Melissa Zimmerman, who plays tenor sax, and John Helft, who plays baritone sax. Melissa is also the elementary school music teacher at Hoosick Falls Central School.

In addition to playing in the sax quartet, all of the members play in other local musical groups such as the Stardusters and the Hoosick Falls Community Band. The sax quartet is a unique group in that it includes four different sized instruments from the saxophone family.

On February 25th we will be hearing Dottie Cross and Bill Cottrell with their piano and Sax duets.

Our final concert on March 25th will have an Irish theme with John MacNeal and Friends.

Each concert will be held at the Louis Miller Museum, 166 Main Street, Hoosick Falls and there is a suggested minimum donation of $5.00.
