Girls and Adults
Find Your Path: Join Girl Scouts!

Girl Scouting may be the perfect place for you -- for girls it is a place to build confidence and courage through activities, leadership programs, community service, teamwork, travel, and much more; for adult volunteers it is a place to share skills, enthusiasm, experience, and values! Together they find a path to a better future.

Why not become a Girl Scout -- as a scout or adult volunteer?

Who can join? Girls in grades K–12, who want to be a part of an organization dedicated solely to girls, where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, you develop qualities that will serve you all your lives, like leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about your own potential and self-worth.

Who can become an adult volunteer? Whether you have girls in the program or not, you can be a strong role model for young women today. Our volunteers are parents, grandparents, guardians, former scouts, teachers, college students, retirees, professionals, community members, church members, neighbors!

Still think you're too busy or don't know what Girl Scouts is all about? Come learn more at one of our Girl Scout Information Booths on Friday, May 14, from 6:00 to 7:30pm, at the Hoosick Falls Central School, and Saturday, May 15, from 9:00am to noon, at Hoosick Soccer Fields (on South Street, Hoosick). Members of the local Girl Scout Service Unit will be available to tell you more about the program and answer questions -- we know you'll be pleasantly surprised! If you are interested in finding out more and cannot attend, please email GirlScoutsHoosick@gmail.com, or call 686-1765.

Girls at St. Mary's Academy, HFCS Elementary School, and the Hoosac School will be receiving interest flyers through school -- these forms can be dropped off at either of the Information Booths or sent via mail to 11 O'Neil Way, Hoosick Falls, NY 12090.
